UNDEAD PANDEMIC is an unsigned Blackened Death/Goregrind solo project by Ben Murphy originating from Shefford in Bedfordshire, UK that started in early 2008. 

From 2008 – 2009 UNDEAD PANDEMIC originally considered being a live band involving other musicians but felt that the freedom of writing original material alone created a more precise direction and avoided any musical or lyrical restrictions and/or disagreements that may occur.  

Lyrically, all of the music produced by UNDEAD PANDEMIC is personal to the band and often lyrics for certain songs are undisclosed.

Late 2009 – 2010 work began on structuring the outlook for the first album The Rising – the first helping of a series of planned releases, some of which have been written or are in early stages.

21/01/12 The Rising was completed including five 'bonus material' tracks released as song that weren't included on the main album but were of a similar concept.

Although the material for the album The Rising is predominantly based on a zombie concept, it also has strong Satanic exertions.  The Rising being a double entendre for the physical rising of the dead and the antichrist movement rising to power of which is encompassed in UNDEAD PANDEMIC's personal beliefs and philosophy.

The Rising tells the blasphemous tale of the Rapture calling forth armies of the undead to reign terror on humanity.

2012 is the year of the undead.
